Raul Gabriel has been an author and editorialist for several years for the culture pages of Avvenire, Paradoxaforum, the university publisher Vita e Pensiero, and recently Osservatore Romano specialized magazines. The prelude given by Raul Gabriel to the first plenary session dedicated to Artificial Intelligence by the Vatican Dicastery for Culture was published in its entirety in issue 1/2025 of the University Journal Vita e Pensiero. 

The artist and theoretician Raul Gabriel On May 16, 2025, he delivered an intense and visionary lecture on the role of artificial intelligence in contemporary medicine on the occasion of the 70th National Congress of Radiology at the Palacongressi in Padua. “(…) The internal debate surrounding Artificial Intelligence is also important, an essential tool that must be governed so as not to be governed by it. A lecture by Raul Gabriel, an Italian-Argentine artist and one of the leading AI experts, is particularly evocative in this regard: "In the new world that will complement the known one to the point of at least partially taking control of it in a hybrid management with unpredictable consequences, we must acknowledge a simplification that levels the cognitive process to the horizontal plane of mechanical interactions: if it happens, then it exists for the sole reason that it happens. The process of adaptation to this new paradigm will be such and so pervasive as to lead us to suspect that if it happens, it not only exists. If it happens, then it is (…)”
